Adding products via Magento
If you run a Magento 2 store, you can connect it to Weebe and sync your catalogue automatically. Stock levels, prices, and product details stay in sync without manual re-entry.
Connecting Your Magento Store
- Log in to seller.weebe.co
- Go to Configuration in the left sidebar and look for Magento Configuration
- Enter your Magento store URL and provide the required API credentials (Access Token and Store Key)
- Set a default category for any products that don't match an existing Weebe category
- Configure your sync preferences and click Save
The Magento connector may not be visible in the sidebar for all vendor accounts. Contact sellers@weebe.co if you need Magento integration enabled.
How the Sync Works
Once connected:
- Active products from your Magento catalogue are imported to Weebe
- Synced data includes: product name, price, SKU, description, quantity, weight, images, and attributes
- Simple and configurable product types are supported
- Stock changes in Magento sync to Weebe automatically
Sync Rules
| Magento Status | Weebe Behaviour |
|---|---|
| Enabled / Active | Imported and submitted for approval |
| Disabled | Not synced |
Out of stock (qty = 0) | Hidden from buyers |
| Product deleted in Magento | Removed from Weebe on next sync |
All synced products still go through the Weebe approval process before going live. See Managing Products for approval statuses.
Category Mapping
Weebe maps your Magento categories to its own category tree. Products in unmapped categories are placed into the default category you set during connection. Review category mappings in your connector settings if products appear in the wrong section.
Tips
- Only enabled products are synced — disabled Magento products are ignored
- Configurable products (e.g. size/colour variants) are imported with their full variant structure
- Stock updates in Magento reflect on Weebe within minutes
- Use Magento's bulk edit tools to update multiple products before syncing
Troubleshooting
Products not appearing after connection?
- Verify the product is Enabled (not Disabled) in Magento
- Allow a few minutes for the initial sync to complete
- Check that your API credentials have sufficient permissions
Wrong category assigned?
- Review the category mapping in your connector settings
- Products in unmapped categories fall back to the default category set during setup
